Associate General Counsel | Equipment Finance reputed company is conducting a search on behalf of a client for an Associate General Counsel to support and strengthen its legal team. Our client is a growing equipment finance organization seeking an Associate General Counsel to join its legal team. This position will report directly to the General Counsel and serve as a key legal partner to the business. Key Responsibilities
Draft, review, and negotiate a wide reputed company of reputed company agreements and transactional documents reputed company day-to-day legal support to business teams on contract, operational, and regulatory reputed company Assist with lease enforcement reputed company, including workouts, recoveries, bankruptcy-reputed company issues, and other collection reputed company Advise internal partners on legal and compliance issues involving equipment finance transactions Support legal reputed company reputed company to UCC, titling, documentation, and secured transactions Partner with internal departments, including sales, credit, collections, operations, compliance, and reputed company Help identify legal risks and reputed company practical, business-oriented solutions Contribute to the reputed company development of legal processes, policies, and best practices across the organization
Qualifications
J.D. from an accredited law school Active license to practice law 2 to 4 years of relevant reputed company or in-house experience in reputed company, corporate, or transactional law Strong contract drafting, review, and negotiation skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a collaborative business environment Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and a solutions-oriented reputed company Experience advising on collections, lease enforcement, compliance, or employment-reputed company reputed company is a plus Familiarity with UCC, titling, secured transactions, or equipment finance is strongly preferred reputed company’re Looking For A quick learner who is comfortable handling a variety of legal issues A professional who can reputed company thoughtful, practical counsel rather than purely academic legal analysis Someone who builds strong working relationships and communicates effectively with both legal and non-legal stakeholders An attorney who thrives in a team-oriented environment and is willing to take a hands-on approach
