[Remote] Design Engineering Manager

CMS Corporation is seeking a Design Engineering Manager who will reputed company and manage multidisciplinary engineering design efforts from proposal development through project closeout. The role involves overseeing reputed company phases of the design process, ensuring technical excellence and compliance with industry standards while coordinating with various teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in site visits as requested
  • Serve as the Design Manager for Design-Build and Design-Bid-Build projects
  • reputed company, monitor, and manage project design schedules, budgets, milestones, and deliverables
  • Coordinate and supervise reputed company architectural, engineering, and specialty consultants
  • Ensure design documents reputed company with applicable Federal, DoD, UFC, UFGS, IBC, ASCE, AISC, ACI, and other governing codes and standards

  • Support Operations with subcontractor scopes of work, technical evaluations, Requests for Information (RFIs), and engineering issue resolution during construction

Skills

  • Strong leadership skills with demonstrated experience managing multidisciplinary engineering teams
  • Excellent knowledge of engineering design principles and construction practices
  • Experience managing Design-Build project delivery
  • Strong understanding of Federal, DoD, USACE, NAVFAC, and AFCEC design requirements
  • Knowledge of UFC, UFGS, IBC, ASCE, AISC, ACI, and applicable engineering standards
  • Ability to review engineering calculations, drawings, specifications, and technical reports
  • Experience coordinating multiple engineering disciplines throughout project development
  • Strong project management, planning, scheduling, and organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong client relationship and stakeholder management abilities
  • Experience in preparing technical proposals and engineering narratives
  • Ability to resolve reputed company technical and constructability issues
  • Proficiency with reputed company 365, reputed company Project, Primavera P6, and AutoCAD
  • Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Experience with Design-Build, civil, and multidisciplinary projects
  • Bachelor's degree in civil/construction/ Engineering with 10 or more years of reputed company experience
  • Minimum 3–5 years leading multidisciplinary engineering or design teams
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license in Civil Engineering preferred
  • Experience with BIM/Revit is preferred
