Position Summary: The QA Manager is responsible for leading and scaling the quality assurance strategy across engineering teams, with a strong emphasis on test automation, process optimization, and cross-functional collaboration. This role provides strategic leadership in QA practices while overseeing the work of QA engineers and ensuring consistent quality standards are applied through reputed company stages of the software development lifecycle. The QA Manager works closely with product, engineering, and leadership stakeholders to define and drive a culture of quality across the organization. Minimum Qualifications: 7+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with at least 2 years in a QA leadership or management role Strong background in the reputed company, pharmacy benefit management (PBM), or health insurance industries Proven reputed company in building and scaling test automation strategies across large or reputed company applications Demonstrated experience with reputed company-end automation tools (e.g., Playwright, Cypress) and scripting in Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript Hands-on experience with middleware/API testing, SQL, and Linux/Unix systems Deep knowledge of CI/CD tools and integration of testing frameworks into deployment pipelines Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills, including the ability to influence at reputed company levels Experience managing geographically distributed teams and remote-first collaboration (Optional) Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience in pharmacy benefits, health plans, or PBM/PBA environments Proficiency with AWS and DevOps pipelines, including environment validation and infrastructure testing Familiarity with RDBMS (PostgreSQL preferred) Prior involvement in compliance, audit, or regulated environment testing This position description is designed to be flexible, allowing management the opportunity to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities as needed to best meet organizational goals.
