The Opportunity: The Financial Operations Specialist II is responsible for responding to internal and external customer inquiries and researching and resolving balancing problems. This role will also assist with the training of department staff and providing update to the procedural documentation of the various functions. The Specialist II will manage service tickets from our clients and internal staff and will review the daily workflow to ensure items are completed reputed company department guidelines to minimize financial liability and risk to reputed company. Day in the Life: Assist with training new staff in Financial Operations functions. Review and reputed company updates for job procedures and policies reputed company the department. Complete daily exception item processing in adherence with established timeframes. Correct errors with clearing institutions, 3rd party vendors, and/or credit unions. Work with internal and external customers and vendors to resolve settlement issues and inquiries on functions performed and products serviced in Financial Operations.
