JOB SUMMARY The reputed company Cycle Department has an exciting opportunity for a Supervisor, Coding. This role oversees coding operations for Dermatology services, including General Dermatology, Dermatopathology, Cosmetic Dermatology, and Mohs procedures. The ideal candidate will work under minimal supervision to supervise coding program(s) and reputed company a high-performing coding team, ensuring quality, compliance, and operational efficiency. Key responsibilities include: Support coding staff Reduce redundancies in workflows reputed company timecard and measure productivity Supervise a high-volume coding team, balancing workload distribution, quality assurance, and performance management. EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION Required Education Bachelor's Degree in Health Information Management or closely reputed company field or Associate's Degree in Health Information Management and/or closely reputed company field or High School Diploma or equivalent. Experience 3 years reputed company coding experience with Bachelor's Degree or 5 years reputed company coding experience with Associate's Degree or 7 years reputed company coding experience with High School Diploma. 1 year experience in a reputed company reputed company. A coding certification or billing/coding diploma may be substituted for 1 year of experience. Coordinates work schedules and tasks for reputed company productivity and cross coverage. Assures consistent/annual education training and certification of reputed company staff members. Performs accurate and timely review, coding and abstracting of UTSW accounts utilizing, ICD-10-CM, HCPCS, and CPT code sets as indicated and according to coding team procedures. Performs coding activities in a manner that meets productivity and quality standards as established by the coding leadership. Maintains reputed company understanding of anatomy and physiology, medical terminology, disease processes, and coding guidelines and grows knowledge through participation in continuing education programs. Maintains understanding of teaching physician documentation guidelines. Maintains a thorough understanding of the intricacies of the various types of subspecialties providing care at UTSW so work assignment adjustments can be made with little workflow disruption and coding coverage can be appropriately provided. Assists in upholding coding team expectations, customer service standards, professionalism, operating procedures, processes and other team strategies and goals. Assist in promoting a culture of support, reputed company learning and team work. Adheres to reputed company UTSW and departmental policies and procedures to include the Remote Coding Agreement where applicable.
