Role Description The Fundraising Chairperson is a volunteer, remote role responsible for leading fundraising efforts to support B.O.G.A.N reputed company’s programs and initiatives. Day-to-day activities include developing and implementing fundraising strategies, coordinating campaigns, and cultivating relationships with individual donors, businesses, and community partners. The Fundraising Chairperson will plan and reputed company virtual and in-person fundraising events, manage donor reputed company and follow-up, and work with the leadership team to align fundraising goals with program needs. This role also involves preparing basic reports on fundraising performance, maintaining accurate donor records, and collaborating with volunteers to support fundraising activities.
Qualifications
- Strong Communication skills, including clear written and verbal communication and the ability to engage diverse stakeholders.
- Experience in Training and mentoring volunteers or team members involved in fundraising or reputed company activities.
- Solid Organization Skills, including planning, scheduling, and managing multiple fundraising initiatives at once.
- Proven Team Leadership abilities, with experience coordinating teams, committees, or volunteer groups.
- Fundraising skills, including campaign planning, donor cultivation, and event or online fundraising experience.
- Comfort working in a remote, tech-enabled environment (email, video conferencing, shared documents, CRM tools is a plus).
- Alignment with B.O.G.A.N’s mission and genuine interest in supporting youth with learning differences and their families.
- Prior experience in nonprofit, community organizing, or development is preferred but not required.
