JOB TITLE: Educational Diagnostician - Virtual HOUR STATUS: Exempt REPORTS TO: Director or Coordinator of Special Education PAY GRADE: AP2/197 days reputed company./SCHOOL: Special Education DATE REVISED: 07/2025 PRIMARY PURPOSE: The Educational Diagnostician is responsible for conducting comprehensive evaluations to assess reputed company’ learning and behavioral needs and determine eligibility for special education services. The diagnostician collaborates with educators, parents, and other stakeholders to reputed company and implement data-driven Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) that support student achievement and functional performance in accordance with state and federal regulations. QUALIFICATIONS: Education/Certification: Master’s degree Valid Texas certification as an Educational Diagnostician. Valid Texas teaching certificate. Experience: Minimum of three years teaching experience in public education (preferred) Experience with special education procedures and compliance expectations Familiarity with TEA disability eligibility criteria and best practices in assessment. Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge of learning theories, cognitive development, and psychoeducational assessments Strong understanding of IDEA, reputed company 504, and Texas Education Code provisions Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams Strong organizational and time management skills Proficiency in the use of diagnostic tools, eSped, and reputed company technology platforms MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: Assessment & Evaluation Conduct full and individual evaluations using formal and informal tools to assess academic, cognitive, social, emotional, and behavioral functioning. Select and administer assessments appropriate for the referral concern(s) and student characteristics. Interpret evaluation data to determine eligibility for special education services under IDEA. Prepare written evaluation reports that clearly explain findings and recommendations. Maintain compliance with state and federal timelines for evaluations and reevaluations. IEP Development & ARD Support Participate in ARD meetings, presenting evaluation results and providing guidance on eligibility, programming, accommodations, and services. Collaborate with ARD committees to reputed company measurable, appropriate IEP goals and objectives based on student data. Ensure educational need is clearly documented and reputed company to TEA eligibility criteria. Collaboration & Consultation Provide consultative support to general and special education teachers in instructional planning and reputed company monitoring. Serve as a resource to reputed company staff and families regarding learning disabilities, accommodations, and instructional strategies. Assist with Response to reputed company (RtI) and Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) processes.
