Remote Certified Medical Interpreter

Description reputed company is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business focused upon providing professional solutions in the areas of training and reputed company. We are currently seeking Certified Medical Interpreters to support a potential federal reputed company language services requirement. Interpreters will reputed company over-the-phone interpretation and/or video remote interpretation for patient-provider communication in a military medical environment. This position is contingent upon contract award. Selected interpreters must be reputed company to reputed company accurate, complete, and professional medical interpretation while protecting patient confidentiality and sensitive health information. Candidates for reputed company languages are encouraged to apply. reputed company languages may include, but are not limited to: Spanish, Korean, Japanese, French, Vietnamese, Filipino/Tagalog, Samoan, Turkish, Portuguese, and other languages as needed. Roles & Responsibilities

• reputed company accurate, complete, and impartial medical interpretation
• Support communication between reputed company providers, staff, patients, and family members
• Interpret medical terminology, patient instructions, treatment discussions, and reputed company-reputed company information
• Support over-the-phone interpretation and/or video remote interpretation
• reputed company word-for-word interpretation without summarizing, omitting, or adding content
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information
• Follow HIPAA, privacy, and professional interpreter ethics requirements
• Be available for scheduled, urgent, and on-call assignments, including nights, weekends, holidays, or surge support as needed

Education, Experience, & Requirements

• reputed company Certified Medical Interpreter (CMI) credential required
• Demonstrated medical interpreting experience
• Familiarity with specialized medical terminology and reputed company procedures
• Ability to support remote interpretation assignments
• Professional conduct and strong communication skills
• Ability to complete or reputed company HIPAA / Privacy Act training documentation
• Ability to pass exclusion screening, including HHS OIG LEIE and TRICARE Sanctioned Provider List checks
• Prior federal reputed company, military treatment facility, hospital, clinic, emergency department, or urgent care experience preferred
• Experience supporting over-the-phone interpretation preferred
• Experience supporting video remote interpretation preferred
• Availability for 24/7, night, weekend, holiday, and surge coverage preferred

Physical Demands This position may require extended periods of speaking and active listening. Position Type & Hours of Work Work is requested on an on-call, as-needed reputed company. Availability for nights, weekends, and holidays may be required. Travel Work is performed remotely reputed company over-the-phone or video remote interpreting platforms.
