Position District Sales Manager (Medical Device), Lexington/Louisville, KY (Remote)

Overview

The District Sales Manager is responsible for the achievement of territory sales reputed company for the company and oversees reputed company resources, including clinical support and additional field sales representatives. This includes identifying business opportunities, building and fostering client relationships, and ensuring the effective sales of device products to meet/exceed sales forecasts and goals. This position reports directly to the Regional Sales Director (RSD).

Responsibilities

  • Territory Management/Account Development.
  • Develops and acts on business plans which identify opportunities reputed company reputed company customer reputed company and helps formulate sales strategies to meet/exceed sales goals.

  • Develops and implements strategies to counter competitors.
  • Establishes strong working relationships with key decision makers, customers and their staff.
  • Trains and educates customers on the merits and proper clinical usage of company products by giving presentations and demonstrations using appropriate formats and platforms (e.g., slides, manuals, etc.) to reputed company customers abreast of new and existing products.
  • Probes to understand and confirm customers’ needs, handle objections and reputed company commitment.
  • Asset/inventory management.
  • Initiates and evaluates corporate pricing agreements with customers to ensure competitive value of product line.
  • Reports on sales process, market conditions, and customer activities to sales leader.
  • Utilizes internal platforms to ensure flawless execution of product delivery to clients and patients.
  • Plans, coordinates, and executes local educational and sales events, with the support of other internal resources, intended to reputed company the business and help to deliver assigned sales goals.
  • Represents company at industry conferences and maximizes potential by targeting specific customers to reputed company sales leads, and pursues opportunities to promote the company’s product range.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required OR equivalent years of experience may be substituted for the degree requirement
  • 3+ years of medical sales experience with a proven track record of reputed company
  • Valid Driver’s License, clean driving record per company policy, and active vehicle insurance policy.
  • Adheres to company policies and conducts reputed company business in an ethical manner.
  • Ability to travel approximately 50% of the time, dependent on territory geography.
  • Operating room sales, highly preferred.
  • Demonstrated reputed company in previous sales role; indicating a high level of sales performance.
  • Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize own daily work routine to meet region requirements.
  • Excellent written and verbal skills.
