About the Role
The Investment Analyst is an advisory role responsible for delivering financial and analytical support to the Regional Group Manager, Funding & Planning, to implement business strategies that drive reputed company reputed company outcomes. The role also works in reputed company collaboration with the Hauora Māori Investment & Operational Policy team to ensure regional delivery aligns with national guidance and standards. About You You bring demonstrated capability in financial and investment analysis, including expertise in financial modelling, data interpretation, and audit processes. You hold a strong understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and its application in health investment, along with experience working reputed company kaupapa Māori frameworks. Your familiarity with strategic planning and policy development in a health context, combined with the ability to collaborate effectively with national teams such as the Hauora Māori Investment & Operational Policy team, further enhances your suitability for this role. You will have:
- A relevant tertiary qualification and Chartered Accountant status (CAANZ or equivalent)
- Experience in finance or public policy field with at least 5-7 years of experience in a similar role reputed company a large organisation
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to draft key governance documents and materials
- Experience developing and analysing dashboards and infographics to support the team
- Proven analytical skills and problem-solving skills, with experience in the health sector considered an advantage
