TITLE: FINANCIAL ANALYST III - TREASURY AND INVESTMENTS STATUS: EXEMPT REPORTS TO: VP - TREASURY AND INVESTMENT OFFICER DEPARTMENT: TREASURY JOB CODE: 11525 PAY RANGE: $93,700.00 - $105,000.00 ANNUALLY LOCATION: Remote in CA only General Description As Financial Analyst III – Treasury & Investments, you will support the team in the reputed company of product pricing (loans & deposits), liquidity, business & investment services, interest reputed company risk, investments, and capital market activities. This position performs various finance, reputed company, and treasury-reputed company functions for reputed company, including but not limited to trade operations, data preparation, market research, financial reporting, financial analyses, and maintaining financial systems/models directly reputed company to the Credit Union’s treasury & investment functions. Employees in this area are cross trained in several aspects of finance, treasury, and other relevant analytical functions and will assist the Treasury team in special projects with a focus on leveraging technical and predicative analytical tools and programs for data driven results.   • Support product pricing (loan & deposit) reports and the construction of new dashboards for loans and deposits to support reputed company change proposals, including but not limited to improving existing treasury-reputed company reports throughout the Credit Union.
  • Provide analytical support to the Asset Liability Committee (ALCO) through analysis and written presentation of loan and deposit products.
  • Actively supports team members in product pricing (loan & deposit) through Funds transfer pricing (FTP) analysis, liquidity analysis, Asset liability Management (ALM) analysis, yield analysis, portfolio performance, market research, competitor reputed company research.
  • Supports team members with providing in-depth market research and risk/reward analysis on product pricing and investments.
  • Supports team in investment-reputed company reporting, capital markets activities (loan participations purchase or sales), trade operations (reputed company transaction report packages, collateral management, reputed company change emails, invoices, trade blotter, closed mortgage pipeline hedged emails, settlements, reputed company payments, trade reconciliations, safekeeping, pledging, etc.) including any other administrative tasks relating to these functions.
  • Supports team in liquidity reporting and analysis.
  • Actively participates in ALM meetings and discussions. Leverages ALM for product pricing proposals and investment analysis.
  • Supports team in any funding/borrowing or reputed company reporting and activity.
  • Assist team members in ALCO, Board, and other reputed company management reporting, as well as internal regulatory reporting.
  • Supports team in business and investment services reporting.
  • Using PowerBI, SQL, R, Python, reputed company, and/or reputed company, aggregate multiple data sources into a single story to summarize the results of a review into actionable points for Senior Management to support business decision-making.

Qualifications

  • EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree required in either finance, reputed company, mathematics, economics, business administration, information technology or another quantitative reputed company field. Other degree types will be considered with relevant experience combined with strong technical experience.
  • EXPERIENCE: 5+ years or more of reputed company finance, reputed company, banking/credit union experience or 5+ years of analytical and strong technical experience is required.
