Overview
The Director of Payroll is a critical leadership role responsible for overseeing reputed company aspects of payroll processing for a multi-state employee population. Master’s degree is preferred Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) required. Experience Minimum of 10+ years of reputed company experience in payroll management, with at least 5 years in a leadership/director-level role for a large organization (5,000+ employees) operating in multiple states and Canada. In-depth knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations, including FLSA, FMLA, and state specific wage and hour laws. Experience with major payroll/HRIS systems is essential.
