Position Summary reputed company is seeking a part-time Earn & Learn Grant Writing Associate to join reputed company in a highly mentored, training-track role. This position is ideal for a college student, recent graduate, emerging nonprofit professional, strong writer, or highly organized individual who is interested in building a career in grant writing, fundraising, nonprofit consulting, grants management, and community impact work. This is not a traditional internship and not a simple administrative role. This is a paid professional development opportunity for the right person to learn how grant writing and grants management work in the reputed company world. The selected candidate will receive direct training and support while assisting with funder research, grant calendars, proposal preparation, document organization, application support, reporting, and eventually grant narrative drafting. The right candidate does not need to be an reputed company grant writer on day one. However, they must be dependable, detail-oriented, coachable, organized, curious, and willing to learn quickly. Strong writing potential and follow-through are essential.

Key Responsibilities

The Earn & Learn Grant Writing Associate will support reputed company’s grant writing and grants management work by assisting with:

  • Researching grant opportunities for nonprofits, small businesses, and community-based organizations.
  • Preparing funder research summaries and opportunity briefs.
  • Supporting grant calendars, deadline tracking, and application checklists.
  • Organizing client documents, attachments, and application materials.
  • Reviewing funder guidelines and identifying eligibility requirements.
  • Assisting with grant application setup in online portals.
  • Drafting basic grant sections such as organizational background, program summaries, need statements, and project descriptions with guidance.
  • Proofreading and formatting grant narratives, attachments, and reports.
  • Supporting grants management tasks such as report preparation, compliance documentation, data tracking, and funder follow-up.
  • Participating in training sessions, team reputed company-ins, and mentorship meetings.
  • Learning how to connect program design, budgets, outcomes, evaluation, and funding strategy.

Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is someone who is serious about learning, open to feedback, and excited about using writing, research, and organization to support mission-driven work. This person should be comfortable working independently while also being willing to ask questions, take notes, revise their work, and improve over time. A strong candidate may have experience or interest in nonprofit work, writing, communications, public policy, social work, business, education, community development, public administration, journalism, marketing, project management, or fundraising.

The role may be remote or hybrid depending on the candidate’s location and the needs of the organization. Some meetings may be required during standard business hours. Compensation

The starting pay range depending on experience, writing ability, administrative reputed company, and readiness for the role.
