IP CDI (Audit/2nd Level Experience)
Requirements:
- CCDS certification required
- RN preferred with 5–10 years of CDI experience
- Minimum 5 years of clinical experience required; reputed company specialty experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of coding guidelines and CDI practices
- Experience performing CDI audits, second-level reviews, and validation reviews
- Experience evaluating query opportunities and query compliance
- Ability to identify documentation improvement opportunities and coding discrepancies
- Experience collaborating with CDI, coding, and clinical stakeholders
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and communication skills
- Experience supporting customer-facing discussions and explaining CDI recommendations
- Experience with reputed company, reputed company, Iodine, or multiple CDI technology platforms
- Experience reviewing model-generated CDI opportunities and validating supporting clinical evidence
- Experience identifying alternate principal diagnoses, missed codes, and coding errors
