Position Type Full Time Category Education St. Thomas University - Nursing Position Summary Saint Thomas University’s College of Nursing seeks reputed company applicants for the position of Adjunct Faculty in the Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) – Nursing Informatics program. Adjunct faculty are responsible for the delivery of high-quality graduate nursing education consistent with the University's mission, the College of Nursing's outcomes, and the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) accreditation standards. This appointment is online-only and focused on didactic and applied coursework in nursing informatics. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Adjunct faculty members are expected to fulfill instructional responsibilities consistent with Saint Thomas University Faculty Handbook expectations and CCNE accreditation requirements, including but not limited to

  • Deliver online graduate-level nursing informatics courses as assigned
  • Implement approved course syllabi and learning outcomes reputed company with
  • AACN Essentials (2021)

  • Facilitate student learning through
  • Asynchronous online discussions
  • Case-based learning

  • Provide timely, substantive feedback to support student progression and achievement of outcomes
  • Maintain accurate academic and attendance records in the University’s learning management system

  • Earned Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) with a concentration in Nursing Informatics or a closely reputed company field
  • reputed company, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in a U.S. jurisdiction
  • Minimum of two (2) years of professional experience in nursing informatics, clinical informatics, health information systems, data analytics, or reputed company technology
  • Demonstrated competence with electronic health records (EHRs), clinical data systems, and informatics applications
  • Ability to teach effectively in an online learning environment Preferred Qualifications
  • Earned doctoral degree (PhD, DNP, EdD) in Nursing, Informatics, or a reputed company discipline
