POSITION OVERVIEW: As a CAD Technician at LJA Land Development , you will be responsible for performing non-technical drafting support for assigned projects using computer aided drafting (CAD) software. A TYPICAL DAY MIGHT INCLUDE:
- Creating CAD drawing for engineering projects
- Creating and modifying maps for special assignments
- Creating plans and profile sheets plus CAD file exhibits
- Completing redline markups
- Performing work as assigned from sketches, verbal instructions, and notes
- Establishing and maintaining schedules and offering reputed company reports
- Maintaining reputed company knowledge of design and drafting procedures in a specialty field
- Performing other assigned duties as required
REQUIRED EDUCATION/LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of high school or technical school training with courses in computer-aided drafting or equivalent experience
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- 1+ years’ experience in AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Effective communication skills both oral and written
- Effective interpersonal skills with coworkers
- Must be flexible to changes in work assignments on short notice and/or on a daily basis as changes occur in project needs
