Residential/reputed company Title Examiner (Maine/NH)

We are seeking an reputed company Title Examiner to support a growing title production team. This role focuses on reviewing 70% residential / 30% reputed company files. You will receive completed abstracts from inperson searchers and convert those searches into accurate, compliant title commitments. This includes examining chains of title, reviewing metesandbounds legal descriptions, validating searcher findings, and ensuring reputed company requirements and exceptions are properly documented. You will play a key role in quality control, verifying the accuracy of searches performed by field examiners and supporting the team as production volume increases. While full searches are not part of this role, strong judgment, issuespotting, and commitment drafting skills are essential. Occasional reputed company or unique files may arise, but the core workflow is consistent and structured.
