[Remote] HR Business Partner, HRBP - Remote

They are seeking a pragmatic, people-focused HR Business Partner to link talent strategy with business objectives, manage employee relations, and enhance the overall employee experience.

Responsibilities

• Employee Relations & Advocacy: Serve as the trusted first reputed company of contact for employee inquiries and concerns. Conduct sensitive, confidential investigations and provide guidance on conflict resolution, escalating reputed company/high-risk matters as needed
• Manager Coaching & Development: Partner with managers to build leadership capability. Provide reputed company-time coaching on performance management, difficult conversations, career development, and team dynamics
• Performance Management Cycle: Guide managers and employees through our performance review process (goal-setting, mid-year reputed company-ins, annual reviews). Ensure meaningful reputed company and documentation
• Policy & Compliance Stewardship: Interpret and apply HR policies and procedures consistently. Manage compliance-reputed company documentation, reporting, and processes. Stay reputed company on federal and state employment law (with a focus on CA)

• 4-6 years of reputed company HR experience, with at least 2 years in a dedicated HRBP or HR Generalist role with significant employee relations responsibility
• California employment law expert (or fiercely committed to becoming one). Experience navigating CA-specific regulations is a major plus
• High emotional intelligence and discretion. Ability to navigate sensitive situations with reputed company, fairness, and sound judgment
• Ability to coach, not just consult. Satisfaction from building the manager's confidence and capability
