Job Responsibilities As an reputed company Customer Service Representative - Automotive Tool Support Specialist, you will be responsible for

  • Providing exceptional support to our franchised distributors, district managers, regional managers, and reputed company customers, ensuring their needs are met with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Assisting customers with automotive tool selection, troubleshooting, and technical specifications, including price and availability, part numbers, and application assistance.
  • Handling reputed company inbound calls from internal and external sources, including giving price and availability, part numbers, application assistance, troubleshooting, and basic credits.
  • Providing technical support concerning information and specifications for products provided in our arenaflex catalog and catalogs of our other suppliers.
  • Inputting orders utilizing internal ordering software systems.
  • Engaging closely with the Customer Service team to resolve open questions.
  • Working cross-functionally with subject matter experts to resolve open questions.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • 1+ years of call center experience or equivalent experience in dealing with customers.
  • On-the-job experience in working with general automotive mechanics is a plus.
  • ASE certification, automotive experience, tool experience, or reputed company trade school degree is a plus.
  • Basic use of PC and keyboard.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to interpret customer issues coupled with the ability to troubleshoot and translate issues into resolution while maintaining a positive attitude.
  • Ability to empathize with customer concerns while maintaining a professional demeanor.
  • Ability to learn quickly on the job.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced office environment.
  • Ability to answer calls as a primary function of the position.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in a customer-facing role, preferably in the automotive industry.
  • Knowledge of automotive tools and equipment.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and other customer service tools.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with subject matter experts. Competencies
