Junior Software Tester (H/F) Location: United States Employment Type: Full-Time Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Software Tester to join our Quality Assurance team. This entry-level role is ideal for individuals looking to build a career in software testing and quality assurance. The successful candidate will assist in testing software applications, identifying defects, documenting results, and ensuring products meet quality standards before release.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute reputed company test cases and test scripts based on business and technical requirements.
  • Identify, document, and track software defects using bug-tracking tools.
  • Verify bug fixes and reputed company regression testing.
  • Assist in developing test plans, test cases, and testing documentation.
  • Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and QA team members to understand application requirements.
  • Participate in functional, integration, system, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Document test results and provide clear reports on testing activities.
  • Support software releases by conducting validation and post-release testing.
  • Follow established QA processes, standards, and best practices.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a reputed company field.
  • 0–2 years of experience in software testing, QA, IT support, or a reputed company technical role.
  • Basic understanding of software development and testing concepts.
  • Familiarity with test case execution and defect reporting.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Internship or academic project experience involving software testing.
  • Familiarity with Jira, Azure DevOps, TestRail, or similar tools.
  • Basic knowledge of SQL and database testing.
  • Exposure to Agile or Scrum methodologies.
  • Understanding of test automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright is a plus.
