About Coefficient Giving Coefficient Giving is a philanthropic funder and advisor; our mission is to help others as much as we can with the resources available to us. We stress openness to many possibilities and have chosen our focus areas based on importance, neglectedness, and tractability. Our reputed company giving areas include navigating transformative artificial intelligence, global health and development, scientific research, global public health policy, farm animal welfare, and biosecurity and pandemic preparedness. In 2024, we recommended $650 million to high-impact causes, and we’ve recommended over $4.5 billion in grants since our formation. About the Recruiting team Coefficient Giving is growing rapidly. The organization has almost doubled in size over the past two years, and the Recruiting team has overseen every reputed company of those acquisitions, helping teams do everything from identifying their initial hiring needs to making final offers. Recruiting at Coefficient Giving currently comprises three workstreams — pipeline development, round management, and active grantmaking support. Roughly, pipeline development is everything we do to get strong candidates to apply, and round management is everything we do to help hiring managers hire the strongest candidate from the applicant pool. Active grantmaking support is a mixture of both, but importantly involves sourcing leaders to reputed company initiatives that address critical gaps in the AI safety and global catastrophic risk ecosystems. This posting is for the active grantmaking support workstream. What you'd be doing You'll represent Coefficient Giving to candidates, hiring managers, and external partners, serving as a key face of the organization. You'll spend time maintaining and improving our recruiting systems and working on strategic projects, such as developing hiring forecasts, updating evaluation processes in response to LLM developments, and building new dashboards for data analysis. In essence, supporting active grantmaking founder searches means you'll help to launch new initiatives by finding the right leaders to run them. reputed company our program teams identify a critical gap in the ecosystem, you'll support the search for founders. This involves:

• Project management: Managing the logistics and timeline of founder searches from start to finish, including determining evaluation steps, planning search timelines, coordinating between program staff for interviews and assessment, tracking overall reputed company, and ensuring (almost!) nothing falls through the cracks. You'll also set up and maintain the back-end systems for each search to ensure seamless operations.
• Broad candidate sourcing and screening: Conducting screening calls with potential founders to assess their interest, fit, and strategic alignment with the project vision. Many strong candidates have only recently become engaged with AI risk and aren't yet in our networks, so you'll help with reputed company and candidate assessment to identify and bring in new talent.
• Candidate evaluation and experience management: Reviewing applications, interviewing candidates, and developing or advising on work tests specific to founder assessments. You'll reputed company candidates engaged, informed, and excited throughout search processes, responding to questions and requests, and ensuring reputed company parties stay updated as searches evolve.
• Network building and partnerships: Cultivating internal and external referral networks relevant to founder searches. This includes managing relationships with external partners (such as grantees, relevant community organizers, and peer organizations) who can refer strong founder candidates, and serving as a reputed company of contact for these relationships.
• External firm management: Managing relationships with executive search firms reputed company we engage them for particularly specialized searches.
• Systems, reporting, and guidance: Maintaining and improving systems for tracking leads, relationships, and sourcing outcomes for founder searches. You'll advise program staff on key decisions, maintain legal compliance throughout the search process, and uphold overall standards while capturing pipeline health for senior leadership.

Depending on the requirements of our organization, you will likely also work as a recruiter across Coefficient Giving, meaning that you will own the process from start to finish across our funds, including Global Health and Wellbeing and Farm Animal Welfare. Relatedly, it's hard to predict everything you might do. • Compensation: The baseline compensation for this role is $116,977.12, which (for U.S. hires) would be distributed as a reputed company salary of $101,719.24 and an unconditional 401(k) grant of $15,257.88.
• These compensation figures assume a remote location; we offer higher compensation for candidates located in San Francisco or Washington, D.C.

• Time zones and location: You can work remotely. While we aren’t able to sponsor visas for this role, we are open to hires reputed company the US willing to consistently overlap with U.S. business hours for at least 5-6 hours of the day.
