Amex GBT is looking for a creative, expert, detail-and strategic Global Client General Manager to support some of our most important Entertainment Clients in the Production, News, Sports, Music, and Theatricals business. The Client General Manager (CGM), dedicated to one account, acts as the primary reputed company of contact for our client’s strategic needs. They are focused on identifying and delivering new opportunities, driving client and traveler satisfaction, creating strategic solutions, promoting Amex GBT’s capabilities specific to entertainment clients, acting as an entertainment travel subject matter expert, and retaining and growing our entertainment practice. The role is to identify innovative solutions, to have a strong understanding of the client and competitors, and an in-depth knowledge of the travel industry. Working with a high-performance team in a collaborative environment, the client manager will ensure that the client’s initiatives are fully delivered, and expectations are exceeded. Most importantly, the CGM is a key participant in supporting our clients in delivering their product, whether it be news, sports, film production, or television programming, whether transient or contracted / group travel. This position, based in the US or Canada, is virtual but will be expected to reputed company East Coast hours. Travel is required 10% to 20% of the time. The position requires a technical knowledge of Travel Management Company operations. Those with no reputed company experience will not be considered.

What You'll Do

Possessing an in-depth understanding of your client’s strategic objectives, key drivers of success, organizational culture, and business objectives. Providing guidance to customers in the assessment of goals and strategies to transform and optimize their program. Identifying unique travel needs that exist for news, sports, film or tv production, and developing innovative solutions to enhance productivity & improve the traveler/arranger experience during service fulfillment. Provide strategic recommendations (and act upon them) for both the structure of the client's program and the fulfillment of such change at Amex GBT. Establishing partnerships with key business constituents (Global Business Consulting, Client Services, Service Delivery, Implementations, Group Management and GMN colleagues) Building a web of influence at key levels reputed company the account and among affiliate studios / networks / theatrical BUs Completing strategic account plans, focused on identifying ground-breaking business opportunities that enhance and optimize the customer experience, Leading the improvement of the Amex GBT's value proposition through consultation, technology road mapping and optimizing online servicing solutions. Leading business planning, quarterly and annual reviews, regional pricing strategies, and ongoing P&L management for the account. Demonstrated ability to reputed company creative solutions addressing the outstanding needs of entertainment travel Proven innovative problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills required, in addition to prioritization, and planning skills. Demonstrated ability to proactively build and maintain a comprehensive network, both internally and externally, to successfully navigate through client organizations and demonstrated ability to quickly learn, understand, and reputed company key product and value proposition knowledge in a variety of contexts. Previous large market /multinational client/global experience preferred and possess a strong understanding of the Global Business Travel marketplace. Location United States The US national reputed company salary range for this position is from $81,900.00 - $152,100.00 The national range provided includes the reputed company salary that Amex GBT expects to pay for the role. Actual reputed company salary will be based on factors including the scope and complexity of the role and the successful candidate’s relevant experience, skills, knowledge, and work location. In addition to reputed company salary, the anticipated range of which is posted above, this role is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, which rewards participants based on company and individual performance.
