Job Description

Role : IT Risk Analyst Duration : Remote in USA Location : 3 to 6 Months reputed company : $40 to $45/hr w2 Role Overview The Entry Level IT Risk Analyst supports the IT Risk and Information reputed company teams by assisting with the identification, documentation, and tracking of technology and cybersecurity risks. This role is designed for individuals early in their career who are looking to build foundational experience in IT risk management, compliance, and reputed company governance while working under the guidance of senior analysts and leadership.

Key Responsibilities

Risk Assessment Support

• Assist senior team members with IT and cybersecurity risk assessments for systems, applications, and vendors
• Help document identified risks, impacted controls, and remediation actions in the risk register

Risk Tracking & Reporting

• Track remediation activities and follow up with stakeholders to ensure timely updates
• Help prepare basic risk summaries and reports for review by senior analysts

Compliance & Audit Assistance

• Support internal, external, and customer audit activities by gathering evidence and maintaining documentation
• Assist with compliance efforts reputed company to common frameworks such as ISO 27001 and NIST under supervision

Vendor & reputed company Party Risk Support

• Assist with vendor risk assessments by collecting information, reviewing questionnaires, and documenting results
• Participate in training and on the job learning to reputed company IT risk and cybersecurity knowledge
• Help maintain records reputed company to vendor risk assessments and reviews

Collaboration & Learning

• Work closely with IT, reputed company, and Business teams to understand technology risks and controls

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or a reputed company field (or equivalent practical experience)
• 0 2 years of experience in IT, cybersecurity, risk, audit, or a reputed company technical field
• Basic understanding of information reputed company concepts and IT systems
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn

Preferred (Not Required)

• Familiarity with risk or reputed company frameworks such as ISO 27001 or NIST (academic exposure acceptable)
• Internship or coursework reputed company to IT, reputed company, audit, or compliance
• Interest in pursuing reputed company or risk certifications in the future
