The University of Florida Lastinger Center is hiring an Early Childhood Education Content Development Specialist. The role involves designing, developing, and implementing early childhood professional learning content, leading regional pilot implementations, and ensuring content aligns with evidence-based practices to improve kindergarten readiness. - Design and develop early childhood professional learning resources using rapid prototyping and field-testing.
- Lead regional pilot implementations and gather practitioner feedback through high-density provider networks.
- Create facilitator materials, implementation guides, and video training scripts aligned with current research.
- Support accreditation processes with the International Accreditors for Continuing Education and Training (IACET).
- Maintain knowledge of early childhood education research, instructional design, and adult learning theory.
- Collaborate with research, evaluation partners, and internal teams for content and implementation alignment.
- Analyze user feedback and data to drive continuous content improvement.
- Required qualifications include a Master's degree with two years relevant experience or a Bachelor's degree with four years relevant experience.
- Preferred skills include proficiency with Microsoft Teams, Google Drive, Excel, and SmartSheet.
- Salary ranges from $66,000 to $71,000 for this time-limited, full-time staff position.
