Senior Cloud Data Engineer – Medallion Architecture

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer with strong experience in Medallion Architecture, AWS, Oracle, and Snowflake to support enterprise data platform modernization. The ideal candidate will design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines across a complex enterprise data landscape, with a strong focus on implementing Bronze, Silver, and Gold data layers for governed, high-quality, analytics-ready data. This role requires hands-on data engineering expertise, strong cloud experience, and the ability to work across source systems, data lakes, data warehouses, and business reporting environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines across enterprise data sources.
  • Implement and support Medallion Architecture, including Bronze, Silver, and Gold data layers.
  • Ingest, transform, cleanse, and curate data from Oracle and other enterprise source systems into AWS and Snowflake environments.
  • Build and maintain governed data lake and warehouse solutions using AWS and Snowflake.
  • Develop reusable data ingestion, transformation, validation, and reconciliation frameworks.
  • Work with large-volume structured and semi-structured data across enterprise systems.
  • Create data quality checks, audit controls, and monitoring processes across data pipelines.
  • Support cloud-based data modernization initiatives using AWS services.
  • Collaborate with data architects, analytics teams, business stakeholders, and platform teams.
  • Support CI/CD automation and deployment processes for data engineering workloads.

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of hands-on data engineering experience.
  • Strong experience implementing Medallion Architecture, including Bronze, Silver, and Gold layers.
  • Strong hands-on experience with AWS data services.
  • Strong experience with Snowflake, including data loading, transformation, performance tuning, and warehouse design.
  • Experience working with Oracle databases or Oracle-based enterprise source systems.
  • Strong programming and scripting skills.
  • Strong experience designing and building ETL/ELT pipelines in large enterprise environments.
  • Experience with data validation, reconciliation, data quality, and pipeline monitoring.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar tools.
  • Strong understanding of data modeling concepts such as dimensional modeling, star schema, 3NF, or Data Vault.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work with technical and business stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Databricks, Flexionis Lake, or Lakehouse architecture.
  • Experience with Oracle ERP, Oracle Fusion, or supply chain data.
  • Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or enterprise reporting platforms.
  • Experience with DevSecOps, data governance, lineage, and access control.
  • Exposure to GenAI, LLM integration, RAG pipelines, or AI-ready data platforms.
  • Experience in manufacturing, supply chain, semiconductor, or hardware environments.
