Remote Clinical Social Worker for School-Based Mental Health Services

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive video intake assessments with new members to gather information on their symptoms, daily functioning, and habits.
• Design and implement customized therapeutic programs that seamlessly fit into the members’ daily lives, focusing on integrating mental health strategies into their routines.
• Provide ongoing support and real-time guidance through our digital platform, offering psychoeducation and necessary program adjustments to enhance therapeutic progress.
• Monitor and evaluate member progress through engagement metrics and clinical assessments, adapting care plans to optimize outcomes.
• Celebrate achievements with members and collaboratively address barriers to ensure continued engagement in their mental health journey.
• Maintain accurate documentation of member interactions and uphold clinical records according to regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and other healthcare providers, to ensure a holistic approach to care.
• Participate actively in case reviews, team meetings, and professional development opportunities to enhance therapeutic skills and knowledge.

Patient Population / Client Focus The primary focus of this role is on the student population within the school system. You will work closely with children and adolescents facing a range of mental health challenges, from anxiety and depression to trauma-related issues. Your clinical interventions will support their emotional well-being and academic success, making a substantial impact on their lives.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or Doctorate in Social Work, along with a current state license in good standing.
• A minimum of two years of clinical social work experience, with preferences for LCSW or higher qualifications.
• A solid foundation in behavioral health practices and effective therapeutic techniques.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in simulation-based education or online clinical supervision is highly desirable.
• Prior involvement in higher education or training settings within social work is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits
