Job Title: Scrum Master Location: Hartford, CT - Remote Duration: 6+ Months Contract Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master to support a high-performing shared services team within the Frameworks & Services organization. The team is responsible for developing and implementing Java-based microservices that support multiple business initiatives across the enterprise. The ideal candidate will have strong Agile delivery experience, excellent stakeholder management skills, and a proven ability to lead Scrum teams through complex technology initiatives. This role requires close collaboration with business and technology teams to ensure timely, high-quality delivery of software solutions. Required Qualifications 4–7 years of experience as a Scrum Master, Agile Project Manager, or Technical Project Manager. Strong understanding of Agile methodologies including Scrum, SAFe, and Agile at Scale. Experience leading software development teams in Agile environments. Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Strong stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills. Experience with resource planning, project tracking, and delivery management. Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 and Agile project management tools. Self-starter with excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities. Preferred Qualifications 3+ years of formal Project Management experience. Experience with Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, Lean, and hybrid delivery models. Knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, resource allocation, and capacity planning. Technical understanding of modern Java applications, microservices, and software delivery processes. Experience supporting enterprise-scale technology programs. Healthcare industry experience preferred. Familiarity with Gigology or large healthcare systems is a plus. Education Bachelor's Degree required, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

Agile Delivery & Scrum Leadership Facilitate Agile ceremonies including Daily Stand-Ups, Sprint Planning, Backlog Grooming, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives. Drive Agile best practices and support Scrum or SAFe methodologies across the team. Ensure the team consistently delivers high-quality features and enhancements on schedule. Remove impediments and proactively address delivery risks. Project & Program Management Manage multiple concurrent projects and initiatives from planning through implementation. Coordinate activities across discovery, design, development, testing, deployment, and post-production support. Track project milestones, deliverables, dependencies, and critical paths. Develop contingency plans and execute corrective actions when needed. Stakeholder Management Partner with Product Owners, Architects, Engineering Teams, Business Stakeholders, and Leadership. Facilitate cross-functional collaboration and communication. Provide regular status updates, risk assessments, and executive-level reporting. Lead Scrum of Scrums and stakeholder meetings. Resource & Capacity Planning Manage team capacity, resource allocation, forecasting, and workload balancing. Support intake management processes and prioritize work based on business value and team availability. Monitor sprint commitments and delivery metrics. Risk & Issue Management Identify, track, escalate, and mitigate project risks and blockers. Ensure project scope, timelines, and deliverables remain aligned with business objectives.
