You will work closely with senior architects, product owners, and cross‑functional teams to develop resilient, low‑latency data pipelines, storage solutions, and query engines. Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain highly scalable distributed data services that handle petabyte‑scale workloads. Build and optimize data ingestion pipelines that achieve sub‑millisecond latency for real‑time analytics. Collaborate with product and engineering teams to translate business requirements into robust data solutions. Contribute to open‑source projects and share best practices with the broader community. Implement automated testing, monitoring, and alerting to ensure data reliability and availability. Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and architecture planning sessions. Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of continuous learning and constructive feedback. Stay current with emerging technologies (e.g., Kafka, Flink, Presto/Trino, Druid, Flash) and evaluate their fit for arenaflex’s ecosystem. Essential Qualifications 2+ years of professional experience building large‑scale distributed systems or data platforms. Strong proficiency in Java or another object‑oriented programming language (e.g., Scala, Kotlin). Hands‑on experience with RESTful web services and microservice architectures. Demonstrated ability to design fault‑tolerant, highly available systems that operate at scale. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
