Fractional CMO — Scale a Multi-Brand DTC + QVC Portfolio ($20M+ Run-Rate)

Showtime Ventures is a Chicago-based consumer products company behind three growing brands under one umbrella:

  • Clickfree+ — AI-powered photo & video backup device (50,000+ sold in a single QVC TSV; featured on CBS Mornings, Fox Weather Deals, GMA)
  • Ice Box — Fireproof, water-resistant emergency document & estate organization kit (featured on QVC's America's Steals & Deals)
  • Legacy Will — AI-guided will creation + physical estate planning kit (launching on CBS Mornings, Fox Weather Deals) To date: 1M+ products sold, 48K+ QVC TSV units, 20M+ TV viewers reached, $20M+ revenue generated. We have proven product-market fit, distribution through QVC, GMA, CBS, Fox, and top national retailers, and strong TV-driven demand. What we need now is a Fractional CMO to architect the full marketing engine that converts our TV/retail momentum into a sustainable, omnichannel growth machine across all three brands. WHAT YOU'LL OWN
  • Multi-brand marketing strategy and quarterly roadmap across Clickfree+, Ice Box, and Legacy Will
  • Paid acquisition leadership across Google (Search, Shopping, PMax, YouTube), Meta, TikTok, and emerging channels — directly managing or overseeing specialists/agencies
  • TV-to-DTC attribution playbook: turning every QVC/CBS/Fox/GMA airing into measurable lift across search, social, and direct
  • Lifecycle & retention strategy (email/SMS, CRM, post-purchase, cross-sell between the three brands)
  • Brand positioning, messaging architecture, and creative direction across the portfolio
  • KPI dashboarding, marketing P&L ownership, and weekly executive reporting
  • Hiring/managing internal marketers, freelancers, and agency partners
  • Working directly with the founder and operations team TARGET OUTCOMES (FIRST 90 DAYS)
  • Unified marketing dashboard and CAC/LTV model across all 3 brands
  • Channel-level ROAS targets set and tracking weekly
  • TV airing → DTC conversion lift attribution model live
  • 1 cross-brand lifecycle initiative launched (e.g., Ice Box → Legacy Will cross-sell) YOU'RE A FIT IF YOU HAVE
  • 8+ years in senior marketing leadership roles (CMO, VP Marketing, Head of Growth)
  • Direct experience scaling DTC consumer products to $20M+ revenue
  • Experience integrating retail/TV/QVC/HSN/As-Seen-On-TV channels with DTC
  • Hands-on fluency with paid media metrics — you don't just manage agencies, you can audit them
  • Strong lifecycle/CRM background (Klaviyo, Postscript, or similar)
  • Comfortable operating as the senior marketing voice in founder/exec meetings
  • Track record of building or leading marketing teams (in-house + agency) BONUS POINTS
  • Experience marketing estate planning, legal tech, or fintech-adjacent consumer products
  • Experience with physical/digital hybrid products (hardware + software/AI)
  • Existing relationships with TV/retail buyers or PR networks ENGAGEMENT DETAILS
  • Start: ASAP
  • Commitment: 10–20 hrs/week, with flexibility around major launches and QVC airings
  • Compensation: hourly or monthly retainer + performance bonus tied to ROAS / revenue milestones — open to discussion
