BI SQL Developer-Boise, ID/Remote
BI SQL Developer Location: Boise, ID/Remote Duration: 6 months Contract Rate: DOE w2 only Required Skills:
- Ability to describe/document/design basic data model concepts (PK/FK relationships Star Schema/Snowflake models and their pro's/con's physical model vs logical model common RDBMS Enterprise features like Partitioning)
- Ability to articulate common ETL designs and describe their pro's/con's (kill & fill Tasknexa loads Batch/Micro-Batch Realtime data pipeline loads are a plus)
- Familiar with common DW concepts (and associated design considerations) such as Slowly Changing Dimensions Large Volume Table design/maintenance Data Retention Policy impacts on DW object design
- Query Performance Tuning (Index Design and Maintenance Ability to read/interpret SQL Execution Plans Knowledge of SQL Server Profiler and/or Database Engine Tuning Advisor are a solid Plus)
- Basic understanding of OLAP Cubes (SSAS) different types of SSRS reports
- Basic knowledge of SAP HANA SAP BW
- Knowledge of/Experience designing Automated Testing/Data Validation/Data Cleansing (big plus)
