To join our Finance unit, we are looking for a: Senior IT Application Specialist (f/m/d) - Finance Sytems to support the reliable operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of our finance-related IT applications. Cologne (hybrid) or Berlin (remote) | Permanent Contract (Full-time) In this role, you will act as a central point of contact between Finance, IT, and external service providers, ensuring that our financial systems run smoothly and support day-to-day business processes and compliance requirements. This position is ideal for experienced professionals (5+ years) who enjoy hands-on application support, system administration, and collaboration with business stakeholders in a finance environment. Your Key Responsibilities as a Senior IT Application Specialist (f/m/d) - Finance Sytems Support and manage finance-related IT applications (e.g. ERP, reporting, and spend management systems) in daily operations Ensure stable and reliable system performance, availability, and data integrity Administer, maintain, and optimize applications to support efficient and user-friendly processes Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve system incidents and user issues, providing first-level support Act as a key contact for Finance stakeholders, ensuring smooth communication and quick resolution of requests Support integrations and collaborate with IT teams to maintain functional system connectivity Coordinate with external vendors and service providers for issue resolution, updates, and improvements Implement and monitor system updates, configurations, and patches Contribute to maintaining compliance with financial and IT security standards Support ongoing improvements and small enhancements of finance applications and processes Guide and train end users to ensure confident and effective system usage Degree in Business Administration, Business Informatics, IT, or a comparable field 5+ years of experience in IT application management or application support, ideally in a finance-related environment Strong understanding of finance processes (e.g. accounting, controlling, reporting) Hands-on experience with finance tools such as Kendox, Yokoy, TravelPerk, or LucaNet is a plus Solid understanding of IT service management principles (e.g. ITIL) and support processes Experience working with external vendors and service providers Strong problem-solving skills and a structured, reliable, and hands-on working style Excellent communication skills and ability to work at the interface between business and IT Fluent in English and German What we offer you: Hybrid work: Combine flexible remote work with team time in the office Workation: Temporarily work from a destination of your choice within the EU, Iceland, Liechtenstein or Norway Permanent contract with Europe's trusted brand 28 vacation days + 2.5 additional days off at Christmas, New Year's Eve and Carnival Buddy programme (an experienced trustee is at your side) Individual training opportunities Events (Team Events, Unit Events, etc.) Health Pass (free online and offline sports, fitness and health courses) BUILD A COMMUNITY OF TRUST WITH US - #cometotrust Not sure if you are what we are looking for?
