[Remote] Business Development Manager

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. C5 Ranch Logistics is seeking a Business Development Manager to lead initiatives aimed at generating and engaging with business partners to build new business. The role involves identifying new clients, managing relationships, analyzing market trends, collaborating with internal teams, and meeting sales targets.

Responsibilities

• Identify and Acquire New Business: Utilize industry knowledge and research to identify potential clients and markets. Develop strategies for pursuing new business opportunities, from initial contact through to contract negotiation and closure
• Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with current clients, understanding their needs, and ensuring our service solutions are aligned with their goals. Address client concerns promptly and professionally to maintain client satisfaction
• Market Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, market activities, and competitors. Analyze market shifts and customer needs to adjust our business strategies accordingly
• Collaboration and Strategy: Work closely with internal teams, including operations, customer service, and finance, to ensure clients receive exceptional service. Contribute to the strategic planning of the company's objectives and initiatives related to market expansion
• Sales and Revenue Targets: Meet or exceed sales targets and contribute to the company's profitability and growth. Monitor sales metrics and report on progress towards sales and revenue goals
• Marketing and Promotions: Collaborate with the marketing department to develop and implement effective marketing materials and campaigns for your target market. Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking events to promote our services
• Proposal Development and Presentation: Prepare detailed, compelling proposals, and lead presentations for potential clients. Clearly communicate the benefits and advantages of our services over competitors
• Load booking and tracking: Post, book and track customer freight to make sure we are hitting both the customer and companies on-time pick up and on-time delivery KPI

Skills

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• 3 - 4 years' prior industry related business development experience
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven knowledge and execution of successful development strategies
• Focused and goal-oriented
