[Remote] DevOps Architect

They are seeking a technical DevOps Architect to enhance developer productivity across the CI/CD lifecycle by building application infrastructures and tooling, while collaborating with product teams and mentoring fellow engineers.

Responsibilities

  • Define architecture and requirements for initiatives focused on accelerating productivity across the CI/CD lifecycle and improving security posture
  • Architect and maintain scalable, reliable, and secure internal tooling via infrastructure as code
  • Mentor and coach engineers, imparting wisdom and best practices into the team’s DNA as a subject matter expert
  • Ensure code quality, delivery timelines, and satisfaction of stakeholders across your work
  • Manage projects from conception to delivery, including requirements gathering, planning work, and performing work

Skills

  • 5-7+ years of hands-on technical experience working as an infrastructure or platform developer
  • Significant development experience with the following: Python, Groovy, Bash
  • Deep knowledge and experience in cloud infrastructure such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud (AWS Preferred)
  • Experience with Containers and Orchestrators (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS, etc.)
  • Experience with CI/CD Tools and IaC languages (e.g. Jenkins, Git, Terraform, etc.)
  • Experience with building the full application release cycle (CI/CD)
  • Experience with being a power user of AI and building AI-based automations
  • Knowledge of operating system administration (Both windows and linux)
  • Excellent design and analytical skills
  • Creative troubleshooting skills and out-of-the-box thinking
  • Experience aligning expectations across multiple stakeholders at multiple levels of the business
  • Strong communication skills, team player
  • Open-minded and creative – a problem-solver
  • A thorough and methodical approach to any task, ability to plan, conduct, prioritize, track and measure processes
  • Decision-making skills: taking into account both architectural and business considerations, at times with incomplete information
  • Strong ability to use new technologies and understand them in depth through rapid self-learning
  • Proactive by nature; internal drive for excellence and improvement
  • Highly motivated, autonomous
  • Fluent in English, good writing skills
  • Experience with MCP, AWS Bedrock, Agentic AI, or RAG solutions
  • BA/BS in Computer Science
  • Experience in testing methodologies and developing tests (e.g Unit tests, integration tests, system tests)
  • Strong networking foundations (TCP/IP, DNS, Network Protocols, Routing)
  • Security principles and techniques (Risk management, Threat modeling, secure configuration)
  • Database usage experience and understanding
  • Experience with Agile development and practices
  • Professional certifications
