[Remote] Talent Acquisition Sourcer (Contractor) - Sales and Corporate Functions

Southern Glazer's Wine & Spirits is a leading distributor in the beverage industry, and they are seeking a Talent Acquisition Sourcer to support their hiring process. The Sourcer will collaborate with recruiters and hiring managers to identify and attract top talent through effective sourcing strategies and candidate screenings.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate and maintain strategic partnerships with Recruiters and Hiring Managers to support the overall success of the hiring process, business goals, and talent acquisition objectives
  • Leverage various sourcing methods to proactively source qualified candidates, including job boards, social networking, passive recruiting techniques, internal/external talent pools (e.g., SuccessFactors, LinkedIn, BetterTeams), and other available resources
  • Participate in intake sessions and calibration/recalibration meetings to ensure a deep understanding of the role requirements and search parameters
  • Act as a brand ambassador to promote SGWS as an employer of choice through interactions with candidates
  • Advocate for ideal candidates and build enthusiasm among recruiters and hiring managers
  • Determine the best sourcing strategy by reviewing job descriptions, applications, legal requirements, and conferring with Hiring Managers
  • Develop and implement effective search queries and Boolean strings to optimize sourcing efforts
  • Provide comprehensive and accurate information to job applicants regarding position responsibilities, compensation, benefits, work schedules, working conditions, and career advancement opportunities to create a realistic job preview
  • Review employment applications and candidate profiles against job requirements to ensure candidate qualification and fit; conduct initial candidate screening and qualification review to assess fit for the role based on job requirements
  • Conduct market research and collect intel to identify industry trends, competitor activities, and talent availability
  • Provide insights on salary trends, benefits packages, and compensation benchmarks to inform sourcing strategies and candidate identification
  • Track and analyze sourcing metrics to measure effectiveness and optimize sourcing strategies
  • Track candidate progress and provide regular updates on sourcing progress, market trends, and candidate pipelines to internal clients and stakeholders

Skills

  • Experience in sourcing candidates and with the practical application of sourcing methods and tools such as job boards, social networking platforms, Boolean search strings, and talent pool databases
  • Experience in utilizing large ATS systems (i.e., SuccessFactors, etc.)
  • Strong ability to work with a team and build relationships throughout the organization
  • Strong communication skills – written, verbal, persuasion, motivation, facilitation of strong working relationships
  • Knowledge of other MS Office Suite and/or software applications related to job functions
  • Excellent interpersonal, customer service, analytical/problem solving, problem management, presentation development, presentation, and communications skills
