Pre-Sales Engineer (Remote - US West Coast)

WHAT YOU WILL DO At Synera, we help engineering teams automate complex product development workflows with AI-powered automation. As a Pre-Sales Engineer, you’ll combine technical expertise with storytelling and consultative selling to show customers what’s possible - and how Synera can transform the way they build products. You’ll work closely with Sales and Customer Success to understand customer challenges, design compelling technical demonstrations, and help engineering leaders see the real business value of automation. Your main activities at Synera will look like You partner with Account Executives, Key Account Managers, and the CRO to drive revenue growth and support strategic deals. You understand customer challenges and translate them into tailored demos, workflows, and technical presentations. You design and deliver compelling live demonstrations that showcase the real-world impact of Synera. You act as a trusted technical advisor to engineering teams and decision makers. You collaborate with Customer Success to ensure smooth handoffs and successful customer adoption. You inspire engineers and engineering leaders by showing how automation can transform their workflows. You continuously learn from customers and share insights with Product, Sales, and Customer Success. ⚡ In 6 months You deeply understand the capabilities of the Synera platform. You confidently deliver customized product demos using existing workflows. You actively support the sales process and help build compelling ROI narratives for customer decision makers. ⚡ In 12 months You build custom demo scenarios and technical teasers directly in Synera. You help establish scalable processes for demo planning, delivery, and coordination with Customer Success. You become a trusted technical voice in strategic deals and customer conversations. For this role, our planned salary range is Experienced Level $117,200 - $152,200 annually Advanced Level $142,600 - $193,000 annually We determine the level we hire you for based on your experience, the scope of responsibilities you'll take on, and the impact you can drive. While we typically hire within these bands, we're open to some flexibility for candidates who bring exceptional value to the role. You have several years of experience in a customer-facing technical role such as Sales Engineer, Solutions Consultant, or Pre-Sales Engineer in B2B SaaS. You are comfortable working with technically complex products. You have experience with CAD / CAE systems and can build or manipulate models. You understand mechanical parts and manufacturing processes such as 3D printing, casting, molding, milling, or deep drawing. You enjoy evangelizing technology and getting customers excited about new possibilities. You are an excellent communicator and storyteller who can simplify complex technical concepts. You are curious and process-oriented, always looking for ways to improve how things work. You enjoy meeting customers and colleagues in person and are comfortable traveling regularly (around 40%).
