[Remote] Marketing Paid Consultant - Optimization, Pacing & Spend Control

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. LinkedIn is seeking experienced performance marketing operations professionals to participate in a one-time, project-based interview for their AI Marketplace. The role involves explaining real-world workflows and decision-making processes related to campaign optimization and budget management.

Responsibilities

• Running daily optimisation routines for bids, budgets, creative rotation, and campaign triage
• Deciding when to scale, pause, kill, or override automated bidding strategies
• Monitoring pacing across campaigns and channels to prevent over- or under-spend
• Reconciling platform spend against invoices, finance systems, PO processes, and agency/partner spend
• Explaining workflows specifically within: daily campaign optimisation, creative/bid/budget management, budget pacing, spend reconciliation, and finance handoff workflows

Skills

• 6+ years in performance marketing operations, paid media optimisation, paid search, paid social, or media operations
• Direct, hands-on experience in daily campaign optimisation, creative/bid/budget management, budget pacing, spend reconciliation, and finance handoff workflows
• Experience making or influencing decisions related to optimisation thresholds, automated-bidding overrides, creative fatigue, pacing corrections, invoice discrepancies, budget shifts, and approval requirements
• Familiarity with tools such as: Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, SA360, Skai, Smartly.io, Tableau, Power BI, NetSuite, Excel
• Strong ability to clearly explain workflows, decisions, and reasoning
• Experience owning or directly executing these workflows in a real production environment
• Experience working cross-functionally with HR, legal, payroll, finance, HRIS, business leaders, people managers, or compensation committee stakeholders as relevant to the workflow
