Clinical Administrative Coordinator - (Remote) | Maximus | Handshake

Maximus is hiring a Clinical Administrative Coordinator to support our 360 Help Desk Program. We are looking for a detail‑oriented and highly organized professional to deliver essential administrative and client‑focused support. In this role, you will manage inbound and outbound calls, respond to voicemails and emails, and ensure accurate and timely updates to documentation across multiple systems. You will manage the scheduling of PASSR, SMHRF, and outreach assessments, assist with follow‑up activities, and ensure data entry is completed efficiently and accurately. This position requires strong communication skills, the ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment, and a dedication to providing exceptional customer service while maintaining confidentiality and accuracy in all tasks. This is a remote position; candidates must reside within the Pacific Standard Time zone. Work Schedule Monday through Friday 9 AM - 6 PM PST with rotating Sunday coverage once every 7-8 weeks, 10am - 2pm PST. Why Maximus?

  • Research and resolve discrepancies with provider documents
  • Review information keyed into the system to verify the accuracy of data
  • Monitor data/image quality of scanned documents
  • Follow established policies and procedures for index and imaging without deviation
  • Maintain confidentiality and security of relevant information Minimum Requirements
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required
  • 0-2 years of relevant experience required
  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a call center environment or in an administrative role
  • Residency in the Pacific Standard Time (PST) zone is required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Proficiency in computer skills, with the ability to navigate multiple systems and applications efficiently
  • Strong ability to multitask and manage competing priorities effectively Preferred Requirements
  • Associate degree in Administration, Office Management, Organizational Leadership, or a related field
  • Typing speed of 25–50 WPM
  • Minimum 2–3 years of scheduling experience
  • Proficiency in Smartsheet, Genesys and SharePoint
  • Prior experience handling inbound and outbound calls
  • Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong customer service orientation
  • Demonstrated organizational skills with strong attention to detail and ability to manage administrative tasks
  • Ability to remain adaptable and task-focused in a fast-paced environment Home Office Requirements
