White Horse Dental Billing is growing, and we’re hiring a Dental Billing AR Specialist who brings not only deep dental billing knowledge, but a passion for accuracy, ownership, and high-level client service. This role is not for general medical billers or those with only healthcare or medical experience. We are specifically seeking professionals with at least 4 consecutive years of dental billing and AR management experience. Please note This is a U.S.-based position only. Candidates must reside and be authorized to work in the United States. About the Role

This is a dental AR specialist role—focused on both insurance claim AR and patient balance AR. You will manage aged claims, verify appropriate adjustments, communicate with payers and patients, post insurance payments, reprocess claims, make phone calls to patients to collect patient balances, and ensure clean ledgers. You should be ready to hit the ground running after onboarding into our systems. Candidates with experience managing the full dental revenue cycle across multiple practices will thrive in this role.

Key Responsibilities

• Research and resolve unpaid or underpaid dental insurance claims
• Submit corrected claims and appeals with clarity and accuracy
• Post insurance payments, denials, and contractual adjustments
• Apply contractual write-offs based on in-network status and fee schedules
• Audit account history and payment integrity
• Send patient statements via Weave, DentalXchange, or other platforms
• Call patients to collect balances professionally and compassionately
• Document actions thoroughly and collaborate with teammates Required Dental Billing Expertise
• 4+ years dental-specific billing & AR experience (required)
• Prior experience working remotely in a dental billing role (preferred)
• Understanding of PPO networks, fee schedules, and write-offs
• Knowledge of COB, secondary claims, and timely filing requirements
• Comfortable working in multiple PMS (Open Dental, Eaglesoft, Dentrix)
• Experience with tools like Weave, Vyne, DentalXchange, and clearinghouses
• Strong patient ledger auditing and payment reconciliation skills
• Familiarity with full-cycle dental billing, claim workflows, and CDT dental coding standards Tools & Tech Proficiency
