Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Remote Truck Dispatch Manager to oversee all aspects of their transportation operations from the comfort of their own home. This is a fully remote position, offering flexibility and the opportunity to manage a fleet of drivers and ensure efficient, timely, and safe delivery of goods across the nation. Key Responsibilities

Manage and coordinate daily trucking operations, ensuring optimal route planning and load optimization. Supervise and provide guidance to a team of truck drivers, fostering a positive and productive work environment. Monitor driver performance, adherence to schedules, and compliance with safety regulations (DOT, HOS). Utilize transportation management systems (TMS) to track shipments, manage dispatch, and generate reports. Proactively identify and resolve potential logistical issues, such as delays, breakdowns, or traffic disruptions. Maintain strong relationships with drivers, clients, and other stakeholders. Ensure accurate and timely processing of dispatch records and related documentation. Implement and enforce company policies and procedures related to safety and operations. Continuously seek opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce operational costs. Handle emergency situations and provide timely solutions to ensure minimal disruption.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is a plus. Minimum of 5 years of experience in truck dispatching, logistics, or transportation management. Proven experience managing a team of drivers. Proficiency with transportation management software (TMS) and dispatching tools. Strong knowledge of DOT regulations, Hours of Service (HOS), and other relevant transportation laws. Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills. Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to manage a remote team effectively. Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment. A dedicated home office setup with reliable internet connectivity is required.
