Role Overview

This full‑time, work‑from‑home position blends customer support with technical development. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams, develop proof‑of‑concepts, and maintain cloud‑based applications that power arenaflex’s online services. Your day‑to‑day activities will include responding to customer inquiries, writing and reviewing code, and ensuring that our web applications are secure, scalable, and highly available.

Key Responsibilities

    • Document customer interactions in the CRM system, identifying trends and opportunities for service improvement.
    • Collaborate with the Customer Experience team to develop FAQs, knowledge‑base articles, and self‑service resources.
  • Technical Development & Innovation

    • Write, test, and maintain front‑end and back‑end code using modern web frameworks such as Ruby on Rails, Node.js, or Django.
    • Design, develop, and deploy web applications on Talensiq Web Services (AWS) using EC2, S3, RDS, and CloudFront.
    • Implement scalable, fault‑tolerant architectures and micro‑services patterns to support high‑traffic customer portals.
    • Participate in code reviews, ensuring adherence to best practices, security standards, and performance guidelines.
  • Quality Assurance & Debugging
    • Debug existing software, isolate defects, and deliver robust fixes in a fast‑moving Agile environment.
    • Develop automated test suites and perform regression testing to maintain high reliability of production systems.
    • Collaborate with QA engineers to define testing strategies and acceptance criteria for new features.
  • Documentation & Process Improvement
    • Create and maintain clear technical documentation, including API specifications, deployment guides, and troubleshooting manuals.
    • Recommend enhancements to development processes, tooling, and documentation standards to increase team efficiency.
  • Cross‑Functional Collaboration
    • Work closely with Product Management, UX/UI Designers, and Operations to align technical solutions with business goals.
    • Partner with the Security team to ensure all applications meet arenaflex’s rigorous data‑privacy and compliance requirements.
    • Engage with external partners and vendors to integrate third‑party services and APIs.
  • Continuous Learning & Innovation
    • Stay current with emerging AWS services, web development trends, and industry best practices.
    • Share knowledge through internal tech talks, mentorship, and community forums.

Minimum Qualifications (What You Need to Succeed)

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • Strong experience with web development technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and at least one modern framework (Ruby on Rails, Node.js, or Django).
  • Hands‑on experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, and CloudFront.
  • Proficiency with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Solid understanding of distributed systems, micro‑services architecture, and cloud‑native design patterns.
  • Working knowledge of relational databases and SQL.
  • Experience with Linux/Unix operating environments.
  • Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities, with a track record of diagnosing complex technical issues.
  • Strong verbal communication and collaboration skills, capable of translating technical concepts for non‑technical stakeholders.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, Agile setting while prioritizing quality and reliability.
  • U.S. work authorization and minimum age of 18.
