As a Contract Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you will be the voice of the company for our members. You’ll guide them through the intricacies of their health benefits, help them locate the right providers, and ensure that eligible claims are processed smoothly. Key Responsibilities

  • Member Interaction: Deliver exceptional service via phone, live chat, and email, providing education and guidance that empowers members to maximize their benefits.
  • Benefit Navigation: Assist members in understanding the arenaflex program, locating in‑network providers, and submitting claims for timely reimbursement.
  • Best‑Practice Adherence: Follow documented procedures for handling inquiries, while proactively suggesting improvements to streamline workflows.
  • Tool Management: Efficiently manage workload using arenaflex’s platforms, including Zendesk, G Suite, and proprietary member‑service tools.
  • Escalation & Triage: Identify complex or urgent member issues, triage them appropriately, and coordinate with internal teams for rapid resolution.
  • Knowledge Retention: Maintain a detailed, up‑to‑date understanding of employer health benefit structures, insurance terminology, and industry regulations.
  • Feedback Loop: Capture and relay member feedback to leadership, contributing to continuous product enhancements and a better overall member experience.
  • Shift Coverage: Commit to an 8‑hour scheduled shift within our operating window of 8 a.m. – 8 p.m. Eastern Time, ensuring consistent coverage for members across time zones.

Essential Qualifications

  • Demonstrated passion for helping people solve problems, paired with a creative and empathetic mindset.
  • Experience in a customer‑facing role (e.g., call center, help desk, retail) with a proven ability to stay calm and effective under pressure.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a knack for translating complex benefit information into clear, actionable guidance.
  • Strong process orientation and digital organization skills; familiarity with ticketing systems (Zendesk) and cloud productivity suites (G Suite) is a plus.
