[Remote] Mechanical Design Engineer - Power Transformers

This role focuses on mechanical design and application support, contributing to projects involving complex power systems while ensuring alignment with performance requirements and industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Support a large utility client on high-voltage equipment initiatives
• Focus on mechanical design and application support
• Contribute to projects involving complex power systems
• Ensure alignment with performance requirements and industry standards
• Prepare technical documentation
• Support customer communications
• Assist with design reviews and equipment specifications
• Collaborate with manufacturing and suppliers to address technical challenges
• Support testing activities
• Ensure successful project execution

Skills

• Transformer design experience
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
• 4+ years of experience with large power transformers in one or more of the following environments
• Exposure to transformer installation, manufacturing, design engineering, or equipment integration
