[Remote] Customer Success Specialist

The Customer Success Specialist role focuses on supporting a growing network of cities, counties, and economic development organizations by guiding them through onboarding and ensuring long-term partner success.

Responsibilities

  • Guide cities, counties, and EDOs through onboarding and help them hit the ground running
  • Be a responsive, knowledgeable point of contact for customer questions and day-to-day support
  • Build and maintain knowledge base articles, guides, and self-serve resources
  • Plan and facilitate webinars that educate and empower our government and community users
  • Partner with internal teams to surface customer feedback and improve the overall experience
  • Help ensure the communities we serve are set up for sustained, long-term success

Skills

  • Public sector - Experience working in or alongside cities, counties, EDOs, or similar government and community development organizations
  • Customer success - 2+ years in Customer Success, Account Management, or a client-facing support role, ideally serving public-sector or mission-driven customers
  • Comfortable building strong relationships with government staff and community stakeholders
  • Organized, responsive, and proactive, you solve problems before they escalate
  • Able to consult customers on best practices and applications of our software
  • Genuinely excited about supporting local governments and economic growth
  • A strong communicator who thrives in both 1:1 support and group settings, like webinars
  • Self-directed and reliable working remotely across distributed teams and time zones
  • Experience with CRM tools, data platforms, or SaaS products
  • Familiarity with how cities, counties, or EDOs operate
