[Remote] Endpoint Security Engineer

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Swoon is seeking a hands-on Endpoint Security Engineer to support enterprise-wide endpoint security initiatives and security platform migrations. This role focuses on securing endpoint environments, managing security tooling, and driving the transition between security platforms and environments.

Responsibilities

• Engineer and support enterprise endpoint security solutions
• Configure and manage EDR, endpoint telemetry, antivirus, and access management tools
• Support large-scale security tool migrations and endpoint modernization efforts
• Investigate vulnerabilities and security findings to improve overall security posture
• Secure Windows, Linux, and macOS environments, including developer workstations
• Collaborate with distributed security and engineering teams

Skills

• Only candidates located in EST or CST time zones will be considered
• No C2C, third-party vendors, or subcontractors
• 4+ years of cybersecurity or information technology experience
• 4+ years of endpoint security experience
• Experience securing Windows, Linux, and macOS environments
• Experience securing developer environments
• 2+ years of cloud and container technology experience
• Strong knowledge of endpoint security tools and controls
• CrowdStrike, SentinelOne, Microsoft Defender, or similar EDR platforms
• BeyondTrust, Delinea, Entra, or other PAM/IAM solutions
• AWS security experience
• Vulnerability management, threat hunting, or incident response
• SIEM, log analysis, and telemetry platforms
• Python, Go, and/or SQL
