[Remote] Data Analyst

Responsibilities

• Collecting and analyzing data from various sources, including online job postings, industry reports, and government databases, to identify trends and patterns in the job market
• Creating and maintaining databases to track job market data and ensure data accuracy and consistency
• Developing and using statistical models and data visualization tools to communicate insights and findings to stakeholders
• Conducting research on job market trends, labor market policies, and other relevant topics to inform the company's strategic decision-making
• Assisting with other data-related tasks and projects as needed

Skills

• Data Science, Data Analytics, Statistics, or Data Mining related major
• Able to analyze and interpret large sets of data and to identify trends, and patterns
• Familiarity with statistical modeling techniques and software, data visualization, and programming languages, such as Excel, R, and Python
• Able to conduct research and gather relevant information from a variety of sources
• Able to present data and analysis in a clear, concise, and compelling manner, both orally and in writing
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams
• Quick learner with an ability to fit into our weekly iteration culture
• Familiarity with immigration and employment regulations, particularly those related to H-1B visas
• Positive attitude, creativity, and a team player mindset to collaborate with our diverse team
• An international background is highly preferred
