[Remote] Regional Sales Manager

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Neapco is a leading supplier of innovative driveline solutions to the automotive industry. They are seeking a Regional Sales Manager to build and maintain a customer base in the central region of the United States, focusing on maximizing sales and identifying new opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Develop strategies to maximize sales through existing customer base
  • Identify and develop new customers representing incremental business for Neapco
  • Manage customer business requests and expectations as required and act as the “Voice of the Customer” when necessary
  • Establish forecasts and develop annual sales quotas for assigned accounts; projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new customers
  • Perform research and analysis to identify new opportunities for customers within assigned territory
  • Close sales by overcoming objections; negotiating / preparing contracts
  • Contribute information to sales strategies by evaluating current product results; identifying needs to be filled; monitoring competitive products; analyzing and relaying customer reactions
  • Conduct customer training for products and services as offered by Neapco
  • Interface with internal teams to communicate needed requirements to maximize sales within the sales territory
  • Assist other departments or business units within Neapco
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Skills

  • Strong technical background; preferably in driveline systems
  • Must be strongly motivated and can work independently
  • Ability to travel up to 70% of the time
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Sales automation knowledge and experience including CRM, logistics, web-based tools, communication tools, strong Microsoft Office Suite skills
  • Bachelor's Degree and/or 5 years comparable technical sales management experience
