Position Overview

arenaflex is seeking a highly motivated Remote Data Entry Specialist to become an essential part of our data management ecosystem. In this role, you will be responsible for entering, validating, and maintaining large volumes of information with speed and accuracy, while safeguarding the confidentiality of sensitive data. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams, including operations, finance, and compliance, to ensure that our databases remain pristine and actionable.

Key Responsibilities

  • Enter data into arenaflex’s proprietary and third‑party systems with a focus on speed, accuracy, and consistency.
  • Perform rigorous validation checks to confirm data completeness, correctness, and alignment with established standards.
  • Update, clean, and archive records on a regular basis to support ongoing data quality initiatives.
  • Collaborate with internal departments—such as sales, customer support, and finance—to gather missing information and resolve discrepancies.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of all proprietary, client, and employee data in accordance with arenaxflex’s privacy policies and relevant regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
  • Adhere to documented data security procedures, including encryption, secure file transfer, and access‑control protocols.
  • Assist in the development and refinement of data entry workflows, suggesting automation opportunities where appropriate.
  • Provide timely support for ad‑hoc administrative projects, such as report generation, data migration, and audit preparation.
  • Participate in regular virtual team meetings, training sessions, and performance reviews to continuously improve personal and collective output.

Essential Qualifications

  • Reliable high‑speed internet connection (minimum 25 Mbps download, 5 Mbps upload) and a dedicated workspace free from distractions.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and familiarity with data entry platforms such as Google Sheets, Airtable, or proprietary CRM tools.
  • Exceptional typing speed (≥70 WPM) with an accuracy rate of 98 % or higher.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet strict deadlines without direct supervision.
  • Strong organizational skills, including the capacity to manage multiple data streams simultaneously.
  • Excellent written communication skills and a keen eye for detail.
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to data protection standards.

Preferred Qualifications & Additional Skills

  • Experience with data cleaning tools (e.g., OpenRefine, Trifacta) or scripting languages such as Python or VBA.
  • Background in finance, healthcare, or legal data handling, where precision and regulatory compliance are paramount.
  • Familiarity with cloud‑based storage solutions (e.g., OneDrive, Google Drive) and version‑control practices.
  • Previous remote work experience, demonstrating self‑discipline and effective virtual collaboration.
  • Certification in data management or information security (e.g., Certified Data Management Professional, CompTIA Security+).

Core Competencies for Success

  • Attention to Detail: Ability to spot inconsistencies, typographical errors, and data anomalies that could impact downstream processes.
  • Analytical Thinking: Capacity to interpret data patterns, identify root causes of errors, and propose corrective actions.
  • Time Management: Skill in allocating time efficiently across repetitive tasks while maintaining high quality.
  • Communication: Clear, concise, and professional interaction with teammates and stakeholders via email, chat, and video conferencing.
  • Adaptability: Willingness to learn new software, adopt evolving standards, and adjust to shifting priorities.
  • Integrity: Unwavering commitment to ethical handling of confidential information.
