CBT Therapist – Children & Young People (CYP) Location: Remote (UK-based) Service: Private - Children & Young People (CYP) Talking Therapies Contract Type: Flexible / Sessional Hours: Monday-Friday 4pm - 9pm, Weekends 8am-6pm

About the Role

This service is expanding its Children and Young People (CYP) Talking Therapies service, delivering high-quality, evidence-based mental health support to children, young people and families across the UK. The service is open 7 days per week and operates 8am-10pm. As a CBT Therapist, you will provide structured Cognitive Behavioural Therapy interventions to children and young people experiencing common mental health difficulties such as anxiety and depression, working as part of a multidisciplinary team to support positive clinical outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality, evidence-based CBT interventions to children and young people Carry out comprehensive clinical assessments, formulation, and risk management Provide therapeutic interventions via remote and/or face-to-face sessions Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams including CWPs, Psychologists, and Family Therapist's Maintain accurate and timely clinical records in line with service requirements Adhere to safeguarding, confidentiality and clinical governance frameworks Engage in regular clinical supervision and ongoing CPD Essential Requirements (Strict Criteria) Applicants must meet all of the following criteria: BABCP Accredited or Registered CBT Therapist Completed CYP IAPT Pathway training (High Intensity CBT for Children & Young People) Demonstrable experience delivering CBT interventions to children and young people Strong understanding of risk assessment, safeguarding and clinical governance Applications that do not meet the above criteria (BABCP + CYP IAPT Pathway) will not be considered.
