Role Overview

arenaflex is seeking an experienced GRC professional to join its Cybersecurity Team as a Data Entry Specialist. This remote position (available on a part‑time or full‑time basis) plays a pivotal role in supporting arenaflex’s internal risk management programs, ensuring that all third‑party risk assessments, compliance questionnaires, and remediation activities are accurately captured, tracked, and reported. The successful candidate will act as a trusted liaison between business stakeholders, internal audit teams, and the Governance, Threat, and Compliance (GTC) leadership, helping to maintain a robust risk posture while enabling the organization to focus on delivering unforgettable experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Third‑Party Risk Management (TPRM) Support

  • Validate incoming third‑party risk assessment requests, collaborating with business owners to confirm scope, objectives, and deliverables.
  • Coordinate the distribution of due‑diligence questionnaires to internal and external stakeholders, ensuring timely completion and adherence to arenaflex’s standards.
  • Review submitted questionnaires for completeness, identify gaps, and flag potential risk exposures for further investigation.
  • Upload responses, findings, and remediation plans into arenaflex’s risk management platform, maintaining data integrity and audit‑ready documentation.
  • Draft and review risk assessment reports, ensuring that all findings are clearly communicated and that stakeholders sign‑off on corrective actions.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for queries related to risk assessment processes, providing guidance and clarification to both internal teams and third‑party partners.
  • Continuously monitor the status of open risk items, updating the system with new findings, remediation progress, and closure dates.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement within arenaflex’s TPRM workflow and propose enhancements to increase efficiency and accuracy.

Governance, Threat, and Compliance (GTC) Activities

  • Assist in the development and maintenance of arenaflex’s cybersecurity risk and compliance strategies, aligning them with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • Document compliance activities against frameworks such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, SSAE 16/18, and other relevant standards, ensuring thorough evidence collection and reporting.
  • Support the creation and distribution of compliance communications, training materials, and awareness campaigns to foster a culture of security across arenaflex.
  • Stay current on regulatory changes, emerging threats, and industry best practices, proactively recommending adjustments to arenaflex’s risk posture.
  • Lead efforts to maintain ISO 27001 certification, coordinating internal audits, evidence gathering, and corrective action tracking.

Essential Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Experience: Minimum 4 years of hands‑on experience in third‑party risk management, information security, audit, or compliance tracking. At least 2‑3 years should be directly related to TPRM or internal audit functions.
  • Certifications (preferred): CISA, CRISC, ISO 27001 Lead Implementer/Lead Auditor, CISSP, or equivalent credentials.
  • Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with ISO 27001, SOC 2, SSAE 16/18, and other security frameworks; solid understanding of risk assessment methodologies (qualitative and quantitative).
  • Tools Proficiency: Experience using GRC platforms (e.g., RSA Archer, ServiceNow GRC, MetricStream) and strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel for data analysis.

Preferred Qualifications & Additional Skills

  • Exposure to AI/ML concepts and their application in risk analytics is a plus.
  • Experience working in large, complex enterprises or professional services firms (Big Four) where rigorous compliance processes are the norm.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities, with a talent for translating technical risk concepts into clear business language.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, capable of dissecting complex data sets and identifying root causes.
  • Proven stakeholder management experience, able to influence and collaborate with senior leaders across finance, legal, IT, and operations.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, remote work environment, managing multiple priorities and adapting to shifting deadlines.

Core Competencies & Personal Attributes

  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous data entry and documentation practices to ensure audit‑ready records.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Ability to build trust with internal teams and external partners, fostering open communication.
  • Adaptability: Comfortable navigating changing regulatory landscapes and evolving business needs.
  • Presentation Skills: Confidently deliver risk findings and remediation plans to diverse audiences.
  • Time Management: Effectively prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage workload across part‑time or full‑time schedules.
