Position Summary

arenaflex is seeking a highly motivated Remote Live Chat Data Entry Specialist who will serve as a critical bridge between our customers, product teams, and data engineering groups. In this role, you will capture, cleanse, and transform voice‑of‑the‑customer (VOC) data, ensuring that it is accurately represented within our enterprise‑wide data platform. You will work closely with utility teams to define business requirements, design robust data models, and support real‑time analytics that drive strategic decisions across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross‑functional utility teams to gather, document, and prioritize business requirements for data capture and analysis.
  • Maintain and enhance the VOC data pipeline, ensuring high‑quality ingestion of customer sentiment, feedback, and interaction logs.
  • Design, build, and optimize scalable data models on Hadoop/HDFS, Hive, and Spark that support both batch and real‑time analytical workloads.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans to validate data accuracy, completeness, and performance across multiple use cases.

Essential Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of hands‑on experience with Hadoop ecosystem tools (Hive, HDFS, MapReduce) and Python/PySpark for data processing.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with product managers, business analysts, and engineering teams to translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban, with experience delivering incremental product improvements on a regular cadence.
